Hello! I have not been successful sharing the video locally to my phone from the app. This seems a necessary step to sharing it on the web. My screen shows exporting, 1% for a long time, and I eventually stop the process....

Insta360 released an update to the Nano app and firmware which added several new capabilities to the Nano:

- self-timer (both in the app and when the phone is used indpendently)

- exposure compensation

- white balance control

- preset filters

- beautifying filter

- customizable watermark

- export video as little planet

First, you need to update the app in the app store.  Then you can go to the app's settings menu, select the option for "independent shooting countdown".  You'll then be prompted to update the firmware.  For most users, this should be automatic.

In my case, it wouldn't update the firmware (been having issues with my crappy isp), so there's an alternative procedure.  You can go to insta360.com/download then look for the new firmware.  Download it and copy it to a new Micro SD card.  Turn on the Nano without the Micro SD card then wait for it to blink.  When the LED is blinkning, insert the micro sd card with the firmware file.  It will then update automatically.  When it's green you know you're done updating.

Oh, be sure to charge the Nano fully before you do the update.

Best regards,

Mic
