I found the image quality of the 360 photo is quite bad.

It is somehow dark and bluish (tend to have blue color), purple fringing as well.

    Resolution is set to 16M.

When I set to use 180 degree, the quality is much better, bright and correct auto-white-balance.

    Is this normal?

Is there any way to improve the quality?

Any software that can do "post-processing" on this kind of JPG and still maintain the 360 data? You know, just to change the color brightness, contrast and adjust the auto-white-balance. That would be nice.

    Thanks.

Which Photoshop version? Your tools are all expensive :)

Once I tried to edit using an app in Android phone, it damaged the 360 data.

You should be able to edit it in anything. The GIMP is free, it should work fine. You will need to make sure the metadata is in your final output. There are some apps that will do that.
