Looking for LG 360 Cam support email address

    Does anyone have the LGR105 support email address? Need to feedback certain things to them, and also submit some enhancement request. I currently have 4 main issues with the cam, despite the latest few firmware did make experience better..

    1. Auto mode Photos in broad daylight most of the time are quite under-exposed. Even indoor photos. Any photos taken, if I edit and ramp up exposure post processing, makes it significantly better. (I know there is manual mode in the app), but Street View app, and the physical shutter button will only work with auto mode.

    2. Better stitching is still much to be desired. Why does the LG Cam need to blur the stitch area making a very thick stitch band that blurs out everything? I don't see other 360 Cams having this issue.They should just do a clean join of both fish-eye images. If they are trying to hide the imperfect join by blurring the whole thick band, i'd rather have a slight disjoint than to not see anything clearly around the entire band.

    3. The cam definitely needs a HDR function. Taking photos in bright daylight typically always overexpose the sky and underexpose the ground very badly. They have to modify the firmware to support it.

    4. And there's something going on with processing algorithms or maybe it's a hardware limitation. Even at ISO 50 (lowest) in good lighting, the noise in the photos is rather high indoors. Walls when zoomed in, looks particularly grainy.

      Sorry I don't have LG support email address, but I thought I was the only one encounter the problem #2 that you're mentioning.

      I originally thought it was the software stitching issue, but after waited 3 months with 4 firmware update, I started to think differently. When I took a 360 photo, it always show one thick blurry band where the two hemisphere photos merge together, NOTE: not two blurry band, just one. and that make me assume this, if their software was that bad, wouldn't it show two band where the 2 hemisphere photo joined ? what if it wasn't software/firmware issue ? what if the lens inside the camera wasn't mounted properly or wasn't calibrate properly from the factory ? 

       

      I start taking 180 degree photo and specifically choosing the  front lens, and the photo were perfectly in focus and clear from left to right, top to bottom, but when I specifically select the rear lens. there is this thick out-of-focus-yet-I-can-still-see-what-it-is blurry band at the edge of the photo. So in my case, it wasn't software stitching issue. it's either a lens mounted slightly off or the rear lens focus wasn't calibrated properly or whatnot.  

       

      unfortunately this thick band occupy roughly 1/8 of this 180 degree photo, making that part of the photo very obvious.  I'm soon leaving for my vacation, if I sent it in for repair I won't have it back in time, so I rather take the camera and use for some 345degree photo and do the RMA when I'm back.

       

      If your LGR105 having the same issue, you may want to contact them for a RMA repair.
