Sorry I have taken the links down as I have concluded the Gear 360 I have is broken. I managed to test 3 Gear 360's in the same location and same orientation and I found that my original one is indeed blurred and out of focus compared to the others. In fact its quite shocking how bad it is. I found testing the camera on grass is good as you can see how sharp/blurred the blades of grass are.
If yours is broken, you can simply contact Samsung and arrange to send it back to them regardless if its broken or not if you are still within 30 days of purchase. You can either send it back via the returns bag the sent with the product or arrange a free collection. You then have the option to ask for a replacement or refund. They do require you to have the original packing and everything else with it though.
If you are outside of the 30 days and you wish to return it for a refund or replacement, you send it back the same way as above but they must send it off for testing to check its faulty. This can take up to 10 days. Then they will either offer you a refund or replacement as long as it is faulty.
What I did and I think is the best option. I placed a new order so I had the broken one and the new one to do a comparison test as well as another one I had borrowed. Then once I was certain, I arranged for the broken one to be sent back for a refund. Since I am within 30 days of purchase it wouldn't have mattered if it was broken or not as I am entitled to return it regardless.
I hope this helps somebody who is experiencing the same issue. It may differ if you didn't purchase directly from Samsung though. If that is the case you may have to jump through a few more hoops with the supplier.
